Trucking Security Requirements (TSR)

The TAPA Trucking Security Requirements (TSR) is a global industry standard that ensures the minimum acceptable security standards for assets traveling throughout the supply chain. By implementing TAPA TSR, companies can reduce the risks of cargo theft and other security incidents.

The TSR outlines the processes and specifications for suppliers to attain TAPA compliance for their transport operations. TAPA members seek out reputable telematics partners to provide professional and technically qualified systems to monitor trucks and trailers carrying high-value targeted theft (HVTT) cargo. It is crucial that the system and software meet the minimum specifications and provide accurate information and data to an appropriate control center.

Successful implementation of the TSR is dependent on suppliers and buyers working together to accurately interpret, adopt, and audit against these requirements. TAPA members intend to select suppliers that meet or exceed TAPA TSR compliance requirements.

If you’re looking to enhance your supply chain security, contact us to learn more about how your company can comply with TAPA TSR. By taking these steps, you can improve your company’s supply chain security and reduce the risks of cargo theft and other security incidents.
